A top-choice of scotch whisky, Monkey Shoulder has an elegant, stylish nose of marmalade, Crema Catalana, cocoa and malt. In addition, there is plenty of vanilla and a sprinkling of winter spice alongside a mouth-watering hint of aniseed. It has very malty, creamy delivery with a suggestion of berry fruit. With juicy-toasted barley, cloves and butterscotch, manuka honey, hot-buttered-toast and dried apricot, it develops a distinct palate.
The finish is medium length with some spicy oak and a hint of peppermint on the tail. The result? A smooth, creamy, supple and very malty Scotch which works superbly well neat, over ice, or in whisky cocktails!
